Privacy policy

This policy describes the unmodified version of Pokémon Lab supplied with this project. It must be updated if the site operator adds ads, analytics, forms or other services.

Teams stay in your browser

Your current team and named saved teams use localStorage on your device. They are not sent to an account server. You can remove them with the team's Clear and Delete controls or by clearing this site's browser storage. Private browsing or blocked storage may prevent saving.

Share links

A share link contains selected filters, Pokémon IDs, shiny choices and locks in its URL. Anyone who receives the link can read those values. Named saved teams are not included. URLs may appear in the hosting provider's logs and in the history of browsers that open them.

External artwork and audio

Pokémon images and cries load from GitHub's raw content service. That service receives ordinary request information such as an IP address when your browser loads an asset. See GitHub's privacy statement for its handling of requests.

Hosting logs

The site's hosting provider may process requests for security and delivery. Its practices depend on the operator's chosen host. This version does not add its own visitor analytics, advertising scripts, tracking cookies or account registration. The contact form opens your own email app with a pre-filled message; nothing you type into it is sent to or stored by this site.

Children and personal details

No personal profile is needed. Avoid putting private information in team names or shareable filter text. The tool is not designed to collect personal information from children.

Changes and questions

The operator should review this policy whenever the site's services change. Use the contact page for questions once the operator's public contact address is configured.

Privacy in Plain English

The short version

The tools run in your browser. Teams, favourites and picker progress are stored on your own device and are not sent to a server. We do not ask you to sign up.
